St. Louis Knitters' Guild Summer 2008 Workshop with Lily
Chin! Friday August 8 - Sunday August 10, 2008.
Lily Chin Registration
Form is on this page! Remember
you must be a new or renewing member for 2008-2009 to attend
(new member/renewing member dues forms are also on the above
page). For best chance of getting your choices, forms/dues
must be received before 5/31/08 for workshop lottery.
Registration will continue to be accepted after that date.
Note:
form has been revised to add box lunch prices - be sure
to reserve/pay by 6/18 - if you've already sent your workshop
form in & want lunch just mark new form "I'm adding
lunch"! Please
include SASE and write separate checks for dues and each
workshop. You also have the option of making
reservations in advance at the Museum restaurant or
doing the "grab and go" food bar there - the restaurant
would like to have a count of how many knitters will want
to do "grab and go" so they can be prepared with enough
food for us. Please send Marilyn Webb, our Education
VP, an email at educationVP@stlouisknittersguild.com so
she can keep tally of how many "grab and gos" are anticipated.
BE
SURE TO NOTE "LILY CHIN" ON YOUR EMAIL SO IT WON'T
GET DELETED AS SPAM:)

St. Louis Knitters' Guild 2008 Knit-Out and Crochet Too!
New venue!!
Our 2008 Knit-Out will be held on Saturday September
27th 10-5 and Sunday September 28th, 2008 from 11am -4pm
at the http://www.strangefolkfestival.com/
in O'Fallon, IL (Their
website has not been updated for this year yet, but basic
information is available.)
We
have a fun new venue, the Strange Folk Festival in O'Fallon,
Illinois . We will teach attendees to knit and publicize
the Guild. Please help us come up with a unique knitterly
name for our tent. We would like a fun, funky name to fit
in. The name will be tagged with "sponsored by GSLKG." A
planning committee and volunteers are needed for both days.
We will be teaching knitting and talking about the Guild
and our charity projects. Join us in the celebration of
knitting and passing along our collective knowledge.
Please
contact Fran Gebhart about helping with the Knit Out.
