You
must be a GSLKG member to attend workshops.
Everyone
who sent their checks before the deadline got their classes.
There are a few spaces left (Shapely Shawlette is
full though!) - if you want to take a class, call Carol
Hurt and then mail your form and check by Saturday March
13th. Also let Carol know if you're coming to
the free Friday lecture ASAP.
Make
it a mini-retreat! Call Forest Park Drury Inn at 314-646-0770
and
ask for the "knitters' block"
SHAPELY
SHAWLETTE CLASS - note from Judy Pascale
For
class time, I bring sample beads for them to use on their
sample mini shawlettes. I bring gunmetal, pearls,
silver lined and gold line beads etc.I bring a nice selection
of size # 6 Miyuki glass beads . Then they can go to their
bead shop and pick up the color that works with their
yarn after class if they wish and use the ones I will
bring for in class.
Then
I give them the proper size crochet hook. Susan Bates
steel crochet hook: 1.25 mm/#9 (very small).
Because this size is small and most shops don't carry it
on hand, I now just bring them and ask for $2.00 to cover
the cost of the hook.

Knitters' Retreat Registration

This
year's retreat will be handled by Knit and Caboodle yarnshop,
send your check & form directly to the shop!
Pay
in full by March 19th. No cancellations/refunds after
April 1st.

applicable current annual rate.

Discount doesn't apply to 2009-2010 member renewals.
It
normally takes approximately three or four weeks to process
your dues - you will receive a welcome letter from our membership
chair. The letter can be used for your guild discount
until you receive your membership packet with member card.
